Ride On!

One of my colleagues in the company where I work for has a new pick-up ride! It was given to her by the company and I was like..WOAH! I wish I could have one too...Okay, that was a joke! That was not really my reaction ;)I was just quiet and quietly wishing that I could drive a pick-up too, and yes I am choosy and want this Chevrolet Silverado :D

Okay, enough for a wishful thinking now...and yeah I would digress 'coz someone from Texas just hit my blog and since I value my readers, here's to you: you prolly have a ride and still didn't know of Dallas auto repair...(okay now you know! :))) and you might someday need to fix your brake and yes, they do brake job there!

So there, click away buddy!

New Website. Own Domain. Finally!

I remember, I have been wanting to have my own domain ever since I learned that I can earn more moolah than my blogspot-tailed url can promise! (Whaaaat? LOL!) but I changed my mind and decided to put up a different site instead. Yeah, I let go of giving this blogspot his own identity -- but relax and wait my blogspot, we'll come to that point! :D

-----
My new webspace is where I post all the photos I have taken with my pentax k-x, my new buddy! Yes, it is a photoblog and it is the first item I am slashing off in my to-accomplish list this 2011! Woot! I do not do own hosting though. Perhaps in few months' time, and I will yet consider this webhosting site. For now, I will just read their webhosting reviews, and i'll see which plan's the best.

I'll make a separate post for the link of my new site! :)

Repost: On Vacation

I was browsing my archives and found this post. I was just a student then who always craves for a break and wishes that college would be over -- and yeah it did happen! But sadly, I learned that because college is over does not mean I got plenty of breaks and vacations! In other words, be careful with what you wish for blah blah blah! :)))

------

Yeah. It's official. But, ugh, I can't seem to organize some plans for this much awaited break! Hmm, I'm thinking though -- if I can just let things happen spontaneously. No plans. No schedules. No schemes at all. Hmm, that, I hope, would be more exciting. Nah. I'm sure that that is a better idea. Yeah. Because, whatever happened to the time tables and working plans I made that I promise myself would have followed in the entire semester? Yeah right, it worked. And yeah, I don't mean that!

Well, now I'm dreaming. Ever heard of SeaSide? Uhm, that's just a place to pamper yourself. All right, that is being sketchy of me. So, uhm, that place is actually a first-class resort where the 4-star Myrtle Beach Hotel is located and where the white sandy beach is just footsteps away. Argh. I'm drooling to experience the luxurious Myrtle Beach vacation deals even for this short break that I have. Oh, that is a total drivel! But for the people who can go there for real, well, I tell you...staying at the SeaSide would be boring without their world-class amenities. Would you not enjoy their helicopter tour package? Or their so called enchanted sailing charters? Or the first-class spa service? or whatnot? Here, http://www.grandeshores.com, click away!!!

Related to Previous Post!

I did mention from my previous post that college has been a great experience! Okay, I only mentioned that it was fun but the former was what I was trying to imply...

One of these great and fun experiences, I remember, was when I got to plant 13 trees! Fun, because I was with my friends when I did that. And great, because...do I still need to explain? I'm sure you know why! :)

Because of that, I am now a certified Planter! Haha! An Outdoor Planter to be more specific! And because you like this post and you love plants, you are checking this Garden Planters' website! :D

Fond of Teaching!

When I opened my facebook a while ago, I saw a friend of mine posted on his wall that he misses college! We had graduated just last year and oh yeah, he already wants to go back to everyday of sleepless nights, every week of exams, and to feel again the agony of awaiting the results! Who would want that, raise your hand!!

*I'm raising my hand!!* Hahaha!

Yeah, without being sarcastic, I miss college too! All of the things I listed above were just a fraction of the whole college life! It's just too many to mention the rest parts that make up the majority -- the fun part! So people, help me overcome this fond-ness... who wants Chemistry Help? Physics Help? Or just any Homework Help? I might be of help! :)

Sports betting, anyone?

I have never done this before and never will I in the future! But I have known some who make their living thru sports betting. And they even get rich because of it.

Tempting, isn't it? Haha. So for those of you who like this kind of stuff, check this sports betting site! You can choose from basketball to baseball to soccer and even to sports for handicappers!

All right, I wish you luck! :)

I miss my sister...

It's our first time to celebrate new year without my sister. She is now 6-7 hours away from us and we are missing her...

Happy moments with her flash back everytime I see someone wearing hospital nurse uniform . We can still get in touch with her though. Thanks to the one who invented the internet!

----
Off topic, I am an engineering graduate but I think wearing medical uniforms is cool! And these are dickies medical uniforms, cool indeed huh! LOL.

Happy this new year!

I am very excited on what God has in store for me this 2011! For sure that's gonna be great! Who could go wrong with God's plans anyway?

And since it's new year, I have to be renewed as well! Haha. You know, trying new things, going out of my comfort zone, and all that old stuff that one is resolving during this first day of the year!
So, speaking of new things, I've decided, I will have my own domain now and will do own hosting for it! Cheers!

I have checked this webhosting site and they summarized some of the best deals on webhosting in the wide web! Click away folks and let's all have a happy new year! :D

On Travelling

Good Morning People!

Just got home from a vacation. It was kind of spontaneous trip this holy week because we haven't booked or reserved accommodations to any beach resorts. The trip was either in San Juan or Calatagan, Batangas. But since it was unplanned, fate brought us to Nasugbu. Haha!

So there, after 7 hours of travelling and searching of a beach resort that has a good accommodation and beautiful sceneries, we ended up at Kawayan Cove. But no regrets because the place was a hidden paradise in Batangas. Here (photo from flickr.com):

But I tell you, 7 hours of travel is no joke, especially when you don't know where you're heading to and worse when you travel on a rough road. And yes, we experienced that! But luck was still on our side because we haven't experienced being stranded in the middle of nowhere, where car repair shops are nowhere to be found. Imagine if we were to replace the head gasket of the our ride? Hmmm, maybe it would have taken us more than 12 hours for the travel alone. I hope we also have this Los Angeles Auto Repair in our country, which we can access online! The site also offers specific auto repair service such as for Ford Explorer, Audi A6, etc. But as for a longterm solution, those rough roads must be reconstructed to smooth, hassle-free roads. Hello, 2010 Batangas Offices' Election Candidates!

Repost: On Relieving Stress

I've been finding ways to relieve my stress brought about by my weekly deliverable on my major major subject. Yeah, you've read it right, major major! I have four major subjects this semester and this major major subject I am talking about is the most stressful one -- plant design that includes mass balance, energy balance, leaching, ball milling, mixing, crystallization, melting, etc, etc. Oh, yeah! It really is a nerve-cracking subject. If only I can fast-forward time and make this all over....sigh.

So, what do I do?I need a break. Some suggestions I got are...watch movie, time zone, videoke, trekking, or just sleep all day. I think the latter was the most appropriate for now since I haven't got enough sleep since last last last week, no exaggeration! Instead of doing that, however, I choose to spend my time in front of my laptop which includes doing some research yet again for this major major subject and of course, blogging!

Well, I just have to blog this one for my readers on the other side of the earth. If you're seeking an online site wherein you can buy Michael Buble Tickets, you're lucky for landing on my blogsite! :) Not only that, at that site, you can also buy Augusta National Golf Course Tickets for its many events (which can also be seen there). And there's more folks! They also extend their service to selling Air Canada Centre Tickets of different concerts, theater acts, and sports events there. So there! relieve your stress and enjoy!

Repost: TV Escapades!

My major subjects have been stressing me lately, so I had been squeezing between the last of my free schedules some quality "me and my TV" time. It just happens that sometimes, limited as the channels available here are, I end up watching really awful TV programs. Ugh!

There are various cable providers available here in my country, but sometimes there are just not enough channels. How I wish that Direct TV would have their service extended here in our country and I'm sure that their promo would be a hit. Or it can be the other way around - we move to US, in New York perhaps, and subscribe to DirectTV in New York right away. hehe. But oh, Directv also has a variety of special offers, not to mention the various channels they can put into your TV itineraries! LOL!

Anyway, if that could not be possible, I think I should find another way of setting off my stress. Hmmm...what about videoke? Who wants to join me? Raise your hand! :D

Among the destinations, I choose BATANES! Here, enjoy the place by seeing these photos:

I'll have to try a trike and jeepney ride there :DD

Gotta Really Love Math

Last week, I had my first job interview. I mean a 'real job interview'. Because my first interviews were when I was applying for a part time job, class mock interview, and mock interview conducted by one of the organizations in UP College of Eng'g. And unexpected as it was, I think I did not perform well. What I clearly remembered was when the interviewer asked me what my least favorite subject is, or in my case, was.

So guess what? Actually it's one of the hardest questions for me to answer. It even took me a bit longer to answer the question. Well, actually, it is easy to say any subjects, but what took me was that I was thinking on how I can defend my answer. After 5 seconds of thinking, I realized that it should not be taking me that long, so I answered...math! LOL. A very cliche answer.

Up until now, I haven't received any updates from that company and I know I was rejected. Haha. If only I got to defend all my answers clearly, I think they probably calling me now already. But, the heck! I even told the interviewer that I did not perform well in that subject. It's like I was saying them that..hey, I am not good in math, do not hire me! LOL. Yeah, considering that they are from IT Company. Yeah, boy, what a bad move. Well, at least I learned. If only I knew this Online tutoring and Math Help, I would have given a better answer to my interviewer. Oh, man, I should have tried this online Algebra Tutoring and Algebra Help before. Try it people! Who knows you'll be answering the same question as well. So better be ready. Hehe.

On Crowd Control

Hmm, February is fast approaching! And when it's February, every UP student is excited. Excited to experience another week-long concert, bazaare, and fun in what we call UP FAIR. Wuhoo! I, for one and for sure, will be attending this event since it would be my last fair as undergraduate student (crossing fingers).

Last year's fair had not been 'fair' for some people who attended it though. In the 5th day of the event, 'people' who were restricted to enter the event created a riot, to the point that they destroyed the fence around the venue. Hmm, but I do not mean that the crowd control capability and strategy of the organizers was not enough and effective. These 'people' I am talking about were really burning with rage for the reason that they were not allowed to enter the event. Well, I can say that the organizers' reason(s) for not letting them in were very valid and these 'people' had no reasonable reasons to act that way. How can the organizers allow them to enter if some of them did not have ticket as the main pass in the first place. Some were really dressed up like they're going to do something bad inside. They are type of 'people' who will give you a suspicious look as if they want to eat you up. They give you this look as if they want to beat you up if you're a guy, or give you a malicious look if you're a woman. I said that the fair is 'unfair' for some people because they have to suffer from physical injury and hospitalization because of the trouble brought by these 'people'.

These 'people' just don't understand what stanchions and barricades are! Hmm, hear me out 'people'...these are for crowd control! If you guys encounter these things again, for your mother's sake, please do read it as 'discipline'! As for my suggestion to the organizers, setting up a velvet rope might help. At least it will give them a sort of ooops-I-do-not-want-to-break-that-beautiful-barricade thinking. Haha.

Yet Another Typical Post

I feel sad now because I still am not able to post my new year post. REAL new year post. Because I am now bombarded with blog tasks as well as my academics is starting to consume all my time and is now compelling me.

----

Anyway, I am starting to feel the fast shift of cold to hot weather. I remember some few years ago, the cold weather here in the Philippines starts from late November to early February. But now, ugh, it's just a week or so after the cold christmas season and it feels like summer already. Uhm, did I mention fast shift? Well, climate change, that is. Okay, I won't go into details about this technical stuff. Though I might some other time. :)

In countries like Philippines, you're fortunate enough if you have your house or room air-conditioned. But then, some are just contented in having electric fans. Aside from the energy savings, it also has decorative purpose when we're talking about Ceiling fans. You'll understand more if you're going to check Hansen Wholesale Ceiling Fans. They all have it for you, from simple to state-of-the-art types of Ceiling fans. What I also want from Hansen Wholesale is that they give a detailed yet very comprehensive answers to frequently-asked questions (FAQ) -- from sizing to energy saving, to maintenance, and all that what-you-need-to-know about ceiling fans. As for the choices, hmm, they have subcategorized the most unique types of ceiling fans into various Ceiling fan themes. They really got it all for you (LOL. Sounds like a theme song of a mall huh).

I Want To Start The Year Right!

Wuhoo! The title has no connection to the post at all. That is just what's on my mind while I am opening my inbox and gotcha! I have a new task right at this moment, in the middle of new year celebration. Thank you! You know who you are. Don't worry I'm not disclosing your identity here.

----

So. Where do I start? Hmm, if anyone of you is in need of new garage door, whether residential garage door or whatever that is, you'll be on right choice with Sam's Club. You can choose from their wide variety of garage doors and garage door replacements. Let alone their relatively cheap price, I for sure recommend Sam's Club. :)

Well, for this new year, let us not close doors for all the blessing that God will be pouring. (What?! Haha. Never mind )

Can somebody send me a snail mail?

When this was posted by my friend on her facebook's profile page, I realized that it's really been a while since I opened my mailbox. Hmm, who would send you one if every household now has a computer and internet? Everyday, I receive 20 emails in average, and yet for my wall mount mailbox it takes a month or two before it gets something inside in it, and mostly just bills!

My friend added, it'll be sweet if she received one...and yeah, I thought that it really is -- opening mail boxes and surprised by a hand written letter from a friend or from whoever special person. Uhm, don't you think so? Haha. Cheesy.

And if you have these kinds of mailboxes, well, someone must really send you a snail mail! :)

I Love Math. Do You?

Hmm, it's not like it's my favorite subject, but being an engineering student, I can't help but to love this, if not the most, well one of the most hated subjects. If you're an engineering student, I know you guys would agree with me, would not you?

But if you're one of the types who condemn math and you wish to pursue any course that includes this subject in its curriculum, uhm, well go fast and pray. Haha, kidding. Anyway, why not try this online math tutoring. Being one of the leading online tutoring program, I'm sure Tutorvista has employed the best online math tutor in the world. So, for those of you who need math help and willing to spend a couple of bucks, go and sign up to Tutorvista's online math help.

You can also try their free online math tutoring, if you are a first time subscriber. I don't know if this free online math help works 24/7 though. But for sure, all the paid subscribers can access the service 24/7. :)

Lost In Translation

If you find google translator unhelpful, try this online translator instead.

Well as for me, especially in doing a research study, not all references I got are written in english. Some need to be translated. And this time, google is failing me. So, my resolve is to find another translator that can translate in english all the references I got, especially those written in chinese or japanese language.

Hmm, you can go to the site and try its free translation promo. :) Check their service yourself if it can give you satisfaction. Oh, they are in beta stage, so you better take advantage of their translation services.
